Key new features

  1. Portlock Storage Manager can be downloaded from Portlock License Manager. Portlock License Manager can connect to a remote NetWare system using the Novell Client. Once a connection is established, Portlock License Manager can install Portlock Storage Manager on the remote server. Portlock Storage Manager can be installed with or without a license file.

  2. Portlock License Manager automatically detects systems booted by the Portlock Boot CD and Portlock SMART Suite. Click on "Boot CDs" in the left pane of Portlock License Manager. Detailed information about each system booted by one of Portlock's Boot CDs will be displayed, as shown in the screenshot below:

    Click on an IP address under the "Boot CDs" tree in Portlock License Manager's left pane. You will see a web page that allows you to manage the system remotely from Portlock License Manager, as shown in the screenshot below:

  3. RCONIP is now bundled with Portlock License Manager. RCONIP is a NetWare-based remote connection utility developed by Paul Pergamenshchik. Portlock License Manager users can find RCONIP on the new "PSM" menu, and also by right-clicking on a NetWare server.
  4. This release includes updated Spanish translation. Go to File > Language > Spanish to change Portlock License Manager's display language to Spanish.
  5. User guides for the Portlock Boot CD, Portlock SMART Suite and Portlock Storage Manager are now included with Portlock License Manager. The user guides can be found on Portlock License Manager's "Help" menu, and also in the Windows Start Menu entry for Portlock License Manager.
