How to connect to ESX or ESXi Server using Veeam Fast SCP

Date published: September 25, 2009

Veeam FastSCP can be downloaded from http://www.veeam.com/vmware-esxi-fastscp.html. Veeam typically requires users to create an account prior to downloading. Once downloaded and installed, no alteration of the server is required. The following steps illustrate how to connect to an ESXi Server:

  1. Open the program and click on "Add Server." This will bring up the "Add Server Wizard." Enter the server's IP address and select the "ESX or ESXi host" option. Press the "Next" button.
